To launch their new, always-on enterprise solution, HP needed a way to get in front of a very select group. The solution was a high-impact dimensional mailer designed to get past gatekeepers and into the hands of C-level execs. An initial mailing of an etched metal postcard, designed to accommodate an UPS label and bypass the USPS, was followed up by an aluminum briefcase containing a metal-bound book and housing a CD. Shiny! It got noticed.
